Skin Needling (Percutaneous Collagen Induction)
The Rejuvapen automatic therapy system uses precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, vertical micro perforations in to the epidermis (surface layers of the skin) and the top layer of the dermis (below the epidermis where the collagen, elastin & fibroblast activity comes from). As a result, the skin shifts it’s natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro channels. The self-repairing property of the skin is 100% natural form of skin renewal from the inside out. The advantage compared to other treatments is that it not only activates cell regeneration, it also enhances the absorption of active ingredients during the treatment before the skin closes.
Post Treatment Experience
Most Patients look like they have moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This is normal and will subside after a couple of hours. Most Patients usually recover within 24 hours or less for the most part. Makeup can be worn straight after treatment however it is better to leave makeup until the following day if possible.

Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels are Keriolitic agents. They are able to break down the protein within the skin. Based on the chemical/enzyme/fruit properties, peels can be classified according to their mechanism of action. Metabolic/Caustic/ Toxic.
Chemical Peels can improve the skin’s appearance.
This Treatment involves a chemical solution being applied to the skin, which ‘denatures’ the skin breaking it down and eventually causing the skin to peel off. This can be done lightly or more moderately; the depth of your peel will be decided after consultation. The new skin is smoother/brighter/softer/healthier.

Light peels are excellent for exfoliating and retexturising the skin with little or no downtime. Deeper peels promote elastin and collagen renewal which is helpful in reducing pore size.

A mild sunburn like sensation and appearance for 2-24 hours. Days 2-4 may see some darkening/crusting. Then mild to moderate peeling/exfoliation occurs from 2-7days (the amount will depend on your peel) Depending on the peel, makeup can be worn.
